Mini Spogomi at King Edward VII School: A Morning of Environmental Action

Taiping, Perak – At the break of dawn, 10 enthusiastic teams of students from King Edward VII School gathered for the Mini Spogomi cleanup event, demonstrating their commitment to a cleaner environment. By 10 AM, their collective efforts resulted in an impressive 120 kg of waste collected from the surrounding areas.

This initiative, inspired by Japan’s Spogomi concept—where litter-picking meets competitive spirit—was made possible with the strong support of Columbia Asia Hospital and Toyo Tires. Their contributions not only empowered the students but also reinforced the importance of environmental awareness in the community.

A big thank you to everyone involved for making this event a success—proving that small actions can lead to a big impact!
