It was a bright and early start for 12 enthusiastic teams at Jit Sin School as they geared up for Mini Spogomi—a fun yet meaningful competition where picking up trash turns into a race for victory!
The event kicked off at 7 AM on the 29th March 2025, together with our project director Emi with students dashing around the school grounds and nearby areas, collecting waste while learning about green efforts and how small actions can lead to a cleaner, better environment. Every team had a mission: gather the most trash, sort it properly, and make a difference!
After an intense cleanup showdown, a trio of determined boys outdid the competition and claimed the top spot, proving that teamwork and a strong eco-spirit can win the day. But in the end, everyone was a winner, as Jit Sin became a little greener, and the students walked away with a new appreciation for keeping their surroundings clean.
With more green initiatives on the way, Jit Sin is definitely on track to becoming an eco-warrior hub! 🌱♻️💚
